New Course - IOT107 - Programming the micro:bit

I am happy to announce a new title in my IoT series of courses - IOT107 - Programming the micro:bit. The micro:bit is an ARM-based embedded system designed by the BBC for use in computer education in the UK. It is easy to program, and is an excellent tool to teach kids on programming.



In this 1-day course, you will learn how to use MicroPython to program the micro:bit, as well as:

  • Connecting the micro:bit to external devices
  • Connecting to a 7-segment display
  • Connecting to a LED Matrix display
  • Connecting to a motion sensor
  • Connecting to LEDs
  • Connecting to a push button
  • Connecting to a servo
  • Connecting to an ultrasound sensor
  • Connect to a rain sensor
  • Using the micro:bit as a beacon
  • Communicating between micro:bits 
The course comes with a IoT kit comprising of a micro:bit and a set of sensors and accessories.
